Cei mai multi stiti deja: imi place Slipknot tare mult. Si nu numai Slipknot, ci si Stone Sour. Dap, Joey Jordison e tare si intotdeauna am avut o chestie pt. baietii aia care bat in tobe. Probabil pt. ca am incercat si eu odata chestia asta si imi pare rau ca nu am ajuns nicaieri. And hey: e posibil sa nu-i placa cuiva de Lars Ulrich?! Come on!

Dar, pana a devia in obsesia mea cu nenea Lars Ulrich, sa revenim la momentul zilei: Imi e dor de casa. Am zis “casa”, nu de Romania. Mi-e dor de tiran si de clipele fericite petrecute cu el. Si cand incep sa ascult muzica, imi e dor de anii de liceu, de rebeliune, de soru-mea, de mama mea zapacita care l-a chemat pe preot sa-mi sfinteasca primul tricou blackmetal de teama sa nu intre toti dracii aia in mine (e vorba de Puritanical Euphoric Misantrophia – Dimmu Borgir- yeah, baby!!! so you know what I’m saying) cand a vazut cum arata. Si da, de taica-miu care ma ducea cu masina la toate concertele rock din oras si statea saracu’ sa ma astepte afara, chit ca era frig sau caldura si care mai tarziu cand eram la facultate, ma suna sa-mi spuna cand sunt filmele cu vampiri si ce concerte mai au loc prin Pitesti, sa fiu pusa in tema daca vreau sa vin pe-acasa. Si sa nu uitam, de marele concert aniversar Phoenix, dupa care am fost ragusita o saptamana si inca una am stat cu genunchii sangerand de la atata tzopait langa scena.

Mi-e dor de “rebeliunea” aia, pentru ca nu trebuia sa dau socoteala nimanui, faceam tot soiul de experimente, citeam tot ce-mi pica in mana. I was a bad-ass. Nu imi pasa ca nu aveam pantofi noi sau rochie Yokko (though I love Yokko, so I should not mention it here). Aveam pictura, muzica, jurnalismul, matematica, psihanaliza si o tona de alte lucruri de facut. Eram ocupata si-mi era bine Don’t get me wrong. Nu zic ca acum nu imi e bine. Doar ca mi-e dor de vremurile alea. Si de oamenii de atunci. Uneori nu ma pot decide. Cel mai usor sa tin legatura cu spiritul ala e sa ascult muzica, restul nu prea-mi mai permite timpul sa le fac. Am observat azi in playlist ca am un amalgam de genuri si trupe. Da, clar, multe live-uri cu Corey Taylor. Dar si blues, jazz si muzica simfonica. Fiecare piesa e o amintire. A ceea ce am trait atunci cand am ascultat muzica aia prima data si apoi iar si iar, si cat de mult a insemnat pentru mine. Din pacate, sunt un antitalent muzical, incapabila sa compun eu ceva. Dar imi place sa ii ascult pe altii – care stiu mai bine.

Buni si rai. Pentru ca nu cred si nu am vazut oameni doar buni si doar rai. Si nu mi-e frica de oamenii rai. Mi-e frica de aia buni, de aia care-ti spun ca tin la tine si te injunghie pe la spate sau te lasa balta atunci cand ai mai multa nevoie de ei. Mi-e frica de ipocriti. I am here! Look at me. Mi-e dor sa fac si eu parte din nou din multimea aia de oameni care canta in cor cu artistul lor preferat. This is so real! Nu stiu cum pot unii oameni sa asculte muzica pe post de fitze, cu pitzi semi-dezbracate, care vin la concert sa isi arate formele. This guy is so real! Nu-mi pasa cum se imbraca, si nu vine aici sa-mi vinda haine sau parfumuri. Nu apar in ziar stiri despre el, pt. ca nu se afiseaza pe la petreceri mondene cu Paris Hilton. He’s just a normal family guy. He watches movies at home with his wife and kids.

And makes music. Wonderful music!

Spre deosebire de muzica bumti-bumti generata pe computer, unde la concert vine un nenea smecher care invarte un disc si transpira acolo de nu mai poate la cat efort a depus el sa scripteze niste sunete pe comp.

Si spre deosebire de tanti-pitzi care macar se zbate acolo ca molusca pe scena, in fustite scurte si colorate si toace de 10 cm, facand playback.

Si, da, mai ales, spre deosebire de nea Salamu’ de mai stiu eu unde care e mare gigolo cu burta data pe afara si lant de aur la gat.

Rockul si muzica simfonica au si mereu vor avea pt. mine ceva foarte aparte: nu numai ca probabil sunt singurele genuri suficient de flexibile cat sa exprime intreaga gama de sentimente umane, dar mai ales ma impresioneaza prestatiile live. Nu am intalnit pana acum o trupa/piesa care sa sune mai bine la o inregistrare in studio, fata de una live – provided ofc ca inregistrarea e cat de cat de calitate si sunetistii nu si-au batut joc de artistii aia.

Cel mai tare mi se pare faptul ca sunt acolo 4-5 oameni (sau zeci – daca vorbim de o orchestra), ale caror creiere sunt sincronizate. Multa munca, mult exercitiu si mai ales geniu. Imi place sa vad orchestra simfonica din Korea interpretand ceva din Offenbach. E lumina, se uita la partituri, organizat frumos, oamenii stau pe scaune samd. E greu si frumos.

Dar cei mai tari sunt artistii rock. Pana mea: fum, intuneric, flashing lights, alcool, nebunie. Si cand ii vezi cu cata maiestrie interpreteaza partiturile alea complicate, la instrumente diferite, cu oamenii tipand in jurul lor, uneori super beti, prin fum si pe intuneric. Si..da, uitasem: sincron!

Man, Love Infernal …Mercury Falling…what’s up with that CRAP? My feeling is that they are trying to resemble HIM. Now, I know HIM is a big hit and everything, but most of HIM’s songs sound all the same. A PoisonBlack sounding like HIM, but not being HIM just does not make any freaking sense!

The saddest part of the story is that I actually LOVE Sentenced.

The Sentenced vocal, Ville Laihiala, is now the vocal of PoisonBlack. Unfortunately, Sentenced dissolved in 2006, after Miika Tenkula’s death. Miika Tenkula was writing most of the Sentenced songs – and boy, they were SUPER!

Now, if I am to go to a concert, hoping to listen to …at least _something_ that sounds like Sentenced, I have nowhere to go. I wish PoisonBlack were more like Sentenced, but only Rush sounds good, as far as I can tell so far. If only Miika were still alive! He would continue to write cool songs, and boring PoisonBlack band will have never been invented.

That guy is absolutely nuts. He laughed and made jokes the entire concert; at the beginning he said he loves our beer and our women and he’s pretty sure he’s going to get very drunk and dance naked on the scene.

Close to the end of the show he managed to snap his pants, so that all of us could see his underwear.
