In ultima vizita la Varsovia am vazut niste avionase pe aeroportul Frederic Chopin si mi s-au parut ca par a fi Tupolev-uri, asa ca m-am dus pe Wikipedia sa caut poze. Am gasit un articol despre respectivele avioane si tot citind pe site, ce-mi vad ochii:“The Tu-154’s airframe and the landing gear is strong, since it is partially based on a design meant for bomber aircraft. In July 4, 2000, HA-LCR, a chartered MALÉV hungarian airlines Tu-154 jetliner landed on its belly in Thessaloniki, Greece. The crew simply forgot to extend the landing gear and the plane skidded 400 meters (440 yards) on the runway. The plane became airborne as the pilots applied throttle, flew around and landed on wheels. There were no injuries, but it was deemed uneconomical to repair the aircraft for circa 2 million USD.”

Acum, eu inteleg multe chestii, ca de exemplu sa uiti sa-ti inchizi casa, sa tragi apa la buda, da sa uiti sa lasi trenul de aterizare… pare putin cam overkill. Noroc cu rusii astia ca fac avioane tapene, ca altfel probabil se cam sugeau aia de la Malev, companie pe care tocmai vroiam s-o laud ca e mai buna ca LOT da cre’ca tocmai mi-a trecut.
